Silverio Martins created MCPM in May 1961. Being in the industry since a young age, he holds a deep knowledge of stones nature, the industry specificities and a creative spirit continuously looking for innovative solutions, in both the production process and in stone use.
His children were brought up listening to stories on stone. The eldest now belongs to the management team.
MCPM began the business with the production of stone slabs, with two gang saws, working for both the internal and external markets. The company grew organically and developed consistently through the years, arriving to the structure it holds today, which allows it to supply a wide and diversified range of products, materials, and projects in the highest quality levels.
The company continues to work on a project basis, having as a mission to provide its clients with global stone solutions at the highest standards.
In stone we believe in long lasting business relationships. In the US, in the New York area, we have done many projects in partnership with STW . In Holland, we worked for decades with one of the country’s natural stone references: Dekker Natuursteen.
